## The Objective

The OnceSafe app works as a tool that keeps all family members' information in one single place and helps a parent act swiftly if their child ever goes missing.

The app features a child ID card functionality that stores the child's information, a missing person report questionnaire that allows for quick filing of a missing child report and forward to local law enforcement for quicker Amber alerts, and a missing child poster generation feature.

## Key Features

- **Child ID Card**: Keeps all the information and photos of the family members up to date.
- **Safety Section**: Provides tools to learn more about what to do if your child is missing.
- **Missing Person Report**: Serves as a questionnaire, a seamless flow to file a missing child report and forward to the local law enforcement.
- **Missing child poster generator**: Creates a downloadable missing child poster in jpeg format to quickly share on social media and other channels.
- **Handoff functionality**: Allows for easy transfer of temporary custody of a child to a specified caregiver (i.e. babysitter, teacher on a field trip, among others).

## The Results

After several iterations with prototyping we had our hand off to the dev team for them to build the app. These were our main results:

- Launched a testing app for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Tested the app with a group of beta testers, gathered feedback and adjusted accordingly.
- Successfully handed off to a marketing agency in order to pursue commercial efforts such as a marketing website, introduction video, and other marketing collateral.
